Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! To get the week started off right, I am excited to feature the exquisite honeymoon of Bryan & Laura to Bora Bora & Moorea. Not only is this one of the cutest couples, they were also fabulous photographers! The two started off in Moorea at the Hilton Moorea Lagoon & Spa where they spent their days filled with activities and then they made their way to the Four Seasons Bora Bora where they relaxed and soaked up paradise. Literally, their pictures are breathtaking.

With heat waves sweeping the country, taking a dip in one of these unique and exotic pools never sounded so good!
First up we have the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Take a break from the casino action and the Vegas-style shows of the Sands in the SkyPark Pool, the world’s largest infinity pool at over 650 feet in the air. The Marina Bay Sands is a perfect stop on your way to or from Bali.
Next, we have one a little closer to home. The Amangiri at Canyon Point, Utah features, as it’s centerpiece, a breathtaking pool that blends with the landscape of the desert. If you’re looking for a chlorine-free dip, the resort is located near Lake Powell and the Colorado River.
This third pool had us doing a double take. Carved into the natural beauty of of Punta del Este, Uruguay, the pool at Fasano Las Piedras is the perfect way to unwind after a round at the resort’s Arnold Palmer designed golf course.
Not only does each ultra-luxurious, glass-fronted suite at the Madikwe Hills Private Game Lodge afford stunning views of the majestic flora and fauna of South Africa, they each feature a private plunge pool. There’s no better way to end a day of observing Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, and Rhinos than floating beneath the unadulterated, star-filled African sky.
Lastly, we have a private plunge pool at the fairytale luxury resort Wildflower Hall at Shimla in the Himalayan Mountains. Bask in tranquility as you take in the awe inspiring beauty of the world’s highest mountains. The spa at the colonial era resort features the best of eastern and western holistic treatments to make this a truly tranquil sanctuary.

For today’s post, I am excited to show you some of my favorite overwater bungalows. There is truly no better way to experience relaxation and romance than spending time in an overwater bungalow in paradise. What makes them extra special is that they can’t be built just anywhere. Overwater bungalows can only be built in protected lagoons and reefs to shield them from waves and rough waters. Overwater bungalows have become a staple for resorts in French Polynesia, but there are other breathtaking options as well. So I am going to start with some of my current favorites, the One & Only Reethi Rah in the Maldives, the Likuliku Lagoon Resort in Fiji, and Cayo Espanto in Belize. I’ll start with the luxurious One & Only Reethi Rah…
Here’s the Likuliku Lagoon Resort in Fiji. This is the only resort in Fiji that has overwater bungalows!
|
Snorkeling at your doorstep. Not too shabby… |
And of course I had to include Cayo Espanto! This private island in Belize is truly a slice of heaven and is another place that has gone straight to the top of my “List of Places to Go.” Don’t you agree?!
|
Overwater Villa at Cayo Espanto. Tell me that is not amazing. |
|
Just a little star gazing |
|
Marine life at your tip toes. |
I’m packing my bags- who’s coming with me?!

I have been so excited about featuring this next honeymoon! This is Melissa and Dan’s honeymoon escape to Hawaii. The newlyweds spent 5 nights at the Fairmont Kea Lani on Maui and then another five nights at the St. Regis Princeville on Kauai. Melissa and Dan were looking for a combination of beach, romance, and adventure, and Hawaii fit the bill perfectly!
Maui was a perfect introduction to Hawaiian culture. The couple spent their time enjoying a catamaran excursion where they had the opportunity to “snuba” (a fun combination of snorkeling and scuba diving) and they also spent a day exploring the waterfalls and beautiful views on the road to Hana. They also went on a Hawaiian cultural canoe experience, complete with whale sightings and sea turtles!
After their adventures on Maui, the newlyweds made their way to the breathtakingly beautiful island of Kauai, the “ultimate Hawaii experience” in their opinion. Melissa and Day spent time in Hanalei Bay, snorkeling and and stand-up paddle boarding (best workout ever!). They also went zip-lining at Princeville Ranch, relaxed in the luxurious hotel spa, took a spectacular helicopter tour of the island, and enjoyed stunning sunsets each evening prior to delicious dinners.
After their trip, Melissa and Dan had some spectacular advice for other couples preparing for their honeymoon: “Don’t hesitate to splurge a little – it’s your honeymoon! Pamper yourselves with a couple’s massage, rent a convertible to drive around with the top down, and don’t hesitate to book that helicopter ride. Also, take lots of photos and video – it’s such a special time and it’s fun to capture that newlywed/honeymoon bliss!”

Good Morning everyone! I hope you have all had a fantastic week! To start the weekend off right, I am excited to share with you all some of my favorite beach totes. I love these bags because they are big enough to carry all your beach necessities, but not so big that you end up bringing too much. They also double as cute carry-ons if you are flying!
Which is your favorite?? Did I forget one? Happy weekend everyone!
