With heat waves sweeping the country, taking a dip in one of these unique and exotic pools never sounded so good!
First up we have the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Take a break from the casino action and the Vegas-style shows of the Sands in the SkyPark Pool, the world’s largest infinity pool at over 650 feet in the air. The Marina Bay Sands is a perfect stop on your way to or from Bali.
Next, we have one a little closer to home. The Amangiri at Canyon Point, Utah features, as it’s centerpiece, a breathtaking pool that blends with the landscape of the desert. If you’re looking for a chlorine-free dip, the resort is located near Lake Powell and the Colorado River.
This third pool had us doing a double take. Carved into the natural beauty of of Punta del Este, Uruguay, the pool at Fasano Las Piedras is the perfect way to unwind after a round at the resort’s Arnold Palmer designed golf course.
Not only does each ultra-luxurious, glass-fronted suite at the Madikwe Hills Private Game Lodge afford stunning views of the majestic flora and fauna of South Africa, they each feature a private plunge pool. There’s no better way to end a day of observing Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, and Rhinos than floating beneath the unadulterated, star-filled African sky.
Lastly, we have a private plunge pool at the fairytale luxury resort Wildflower Hall at Shimla in the Himalayan Mountains. Bask in tranquility as you take in the awe inspiring beauty of the world’s highest mountains. The spa at the colonial era resort features the best of eastern and western holistic treatments to make this a truly tranquil sanctuary.

For today’s post, I am excited to show you some of my favorite overwater bungalows. There is truly no better way to experience relaxation and romance than spending time in an overwater bungalow in paradise. What makes them extra special is that they can’t be built just anywhere. Overwater bungalows can only be built in protected lagoons and reefs to shield them from waves and rough waters. Overwater bungalows have become a staple for resorts in French Polynesia, but there are other breathtaking options as well. So I am going to start with some of my current favorites, the One & Only Reethi Rah in the Maldives, the Likuliku Lagoon Resort in Fiji, and Cayo Espanto in Belize. I’ll start with the luxurious One & Only Reethi Rah…
Here’s the Likuliku Lagoon Resort in Fiji. This is the only resort in Fiji that has overwater bungalows!

Snorkeling at your doorstep. Not too shabby… |
And of course I had to include Cayo Espanto! This private island in Belize is truly a slice of heaven and is another place that has gone straight to the top of my “List of Places to Go.” Don’t you agree?!

I’m packing my bags- who’s coming with me?!

Recently, I have had a lot of couples wanting to go on a safari in South Africa and I have fallen in love. There is so much wildlife and natural beauty that words can hardly describe them! So today for our Destination Spotlight, I am so excited to feature the famous Kruger National Park.
Too often couples over look destinations without a sandy beach, thinking they won’t get the relaxation and seclusion they are looking for on their honeymoon. With these properties couples are presented with the perfect combination of opulence and rustic charm. Kruger National Park is home to more mammal species than any other African game reserve and by being at these properties you are able to get up close and personal with the wonders of African beauty and wildlife. You have to take a look for yourself at these places!
Not only are these properties encircled by some of the most natural beauty known to mankind, they are all perfectly situated to make the most of the land around them. There’s hardly a place around each of these properties without a majestic view of some kind.
Kruger National Park is the perfect destination for couples wanting to experience something new, exotic, memorable, relaxing and beautiful!

Hi everyone! I hope you have all had a fabulous short week thus far. Today, I am excited to feature a real honeymoon getaway to Barcelona, Spain and Marrakech, Morocco. James & Christie knew from the start that they wanted to go to Barcelona, but they also wanted to add one more destination to the trip, a place that was more of a gamble, more exotic. Morocco fit the bill perfectly and was only a short flight from Barcelona! The two spent a week in Morocco at Riad Yasmine, a beautiful oasis off the bustling streets of Marrakech with only 8 other rooms. Riad Yasmine also has some of the best Moroccan food in town! In Barcelona, the two stayed at the Hotel Icaria, near the Olympic Village. It was a perfect location and had the perfect pool for their lazy days.
