I had so much fun working with Amanda of 100 Layer Cake putting together an exciting Italian journey for her and her fiance! Some of you might have already seen these pictures over on 100 Layer Cake, but for those of you that have not, you are in for a treat! Their trip began in Venice, the honeymoon capital of Italy.
Their biggest tip for Venice was not to waste a good meal there because there are so many fabulous options. In Amanda’s words, “restaurants that have photos of the food displayed anywhere scream “tourist trap!” so don’t waste a precious meal there. A stylish lunch at the Osteria Enoteca San Marco was cozy & delicious. Dinner highlights included Osteria Boccadoro & Antiche Carampane, both of which are a little tricky to find, but are worth the trip through the maze!”
They also highly recommend a ride in one of the gondolas so don’t miss out on that adventure!
Stay tuned for the rest of their trip coming up this week! Interested in going to Venice for your honeymoon? Contact us!
I hope you are all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends and family! I’m hoping to find some time during this long weekend to read. Here’s what I’m excited to read right now:Has anyone read any of these books? Any suggestions on which one I should start with?
Wishing you all safe travels during this long weekend!
I know we just did a carry-on bag round up, but when I came across this little gem, I just had to tell you about it! I think this just might be the best travel bag I have ever seen! I have been endlessly searching for a good bag to bring on short weekend trips and the O.G. Bag from Lo & Sons is just perfect! Not to mention it’s super cute! Look at what all it can hold…
Amazing, right?! You’ve got to check out their other stuff too.
Wishing you all safe travels for Thanksgiving!
I cannot believe that Thanksgiving is this week, where has the year gone?? In the spirit of the holiday, today I am going to share with you a delicious Tuscan pizzeria that I have been dreaming about venturing to. Pizzeria de Felice, a family-run place in the little town of Lucca, is a hole-in-the-wall with some of the best pizza in Italy. And we all know that anywhere overflowing with a line of locals guarantees some delicious & authentic dishes. They are known for “cecina,” (a salted, fried chickpea pancake) which sounds amazing!
Doesn’t this all look so delicious!! If only they delivered across the pond…. buonasera!
