A weekend packed with food, wine and an incomparable culinary experience is what I call vacation and what any foodie would say is a dream honeymoon. The Cayman Cookout is hosted from January 17-20 at the The Ritz Carlton, Grand Cayman.
I’d love to send you off to the Cayman Islands to experience this delicious event and when you come back you can share it right here on my blog! Let’s talk!

Fall is officially upon us and to celebrate I’m sharing The Siam Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. Bangkok is one of the best places to visit in November because of the great weather ranging from 70’s to 80’s, and it isn’t humid like most other months of the year.
The Siam Hotel is extraordinary with gorgeous art deco styling, one of kind architecture and views of the Chao Praya River right outside. Being one of the newest boutique hotels in the area it offers a variety of suite options from river views to rooftop decks. Of course Bangkok has plenty to explore, but onsite you can enjoy many cultural activities like yoga, tai chi, thai cooking classes and a a cruise on the hotel’s speedboat. This hotel truly prides itself in its rich history and dedication to excellent service. The entire property is just beautiful – take a look for yourself!
If you’re looking for an exotic and luxurious hotel while staying in Bangkok, this is the spot! If you mention this post I can arrange a complimentary sunset cocktail cruise on your honeymoon.

I had the pleasure of planning a much deserved trip for the talented wedding photographer Ala Cortez and her husband to Greece and Italy. They hopped between Greece and Italy, and enjoyed all of the charm of Santorini, Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast, and Rome. You can see all their photos and read the full post on her blog, but I’ve included a beautifully written excerpt from Ala that highlights how the smallest experiences make the biggest and most lasting impacts.
It was things like driving a manual transmission car, in the rain, on foreign windy roads as we made our way to San Gimignano, Italy. Sitting on the steps of the Collegiata in the Piazza del Duomo, huddled around a cup of the best pistachio gelato in the world, watching the amateur orchestra perform. Tear-filled life talks over beers in Florence. Biking along the walls surrounding Lucca, overlooking the charming city. Walking into a tiny Sorrento storefront and letting a man who spoke no english whatsoever make sandals for me with his own two hands. Or my favorite day, renting a boat in Capri driving around the entire island stopping for a swim in the Grotta Verde, parking our boat to share lunch and a bottle of prosecco and finally, driving through the Faraglioni. What a glorious day! – Ala Cortez
Thanks so much Ala for sharing your adventures! It’s always good to take a trip to explore the world and enjoy one another. I love creating getaways for couples and I look forward to making a custom itinerary that suits your exact style. Let’s start planning!

I recently returned from the most amazing week in New York City! I had a few work meetings, and it was Bridal Week in New York City. So I convinced Summer from Grey Likes Weddings to come along and off we went! New York City is one of my very favorite places in the world, and it certainly didn’t disappoint this time around! After our Southern California heat wave, I loved the amazing fall weather in New York!
We walked, shopped, ate, and drank our way through the city! A few favorite spots were drinks at Middle Branch, Employees Only, and Death & Co. And favorite meals were at Pastis, Beauty & Essex, Buvette, Casellula, and brunch at The Morning Standard. The UrbanDaddy app steered us to all of the great spots!
It was really fun to attend a couple fashion shows during Bridal Week! I went to the Amsale and Reem Acra shows, and saw some unbelievably gorgeous gowns!
I also attended really fun parties for Lover.ly, Martha Stewart Weddings, and The Knot. I love working in an industry with such amazing people! To see all the action find me on Instagram @eahoneymoons!
Another highlight of the trip was staying at the Soho House. This is a private members club with a small number of guest rooms. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of the Meatpacking District. They have an a wonderful restaurant and a rooftop balcony with the most incredible views of the city! It felt like such a perfect little hideaway. And I loved walking around the Meatpacking District and the nearby West Village. So many cute little boutiques and cafes.

Does the name Borgo Egnazia sound familiar? Borgo Egnazia is the luxury hotel located off the southern coast of Italy that hot hollywood couple Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel tied the knot at last week. Blogs are buzzing that they chose this destination for the pleathera of food and wine in the region. I can get onboard with that any day! And check out how gorgeous this hotel is!
