Daydreaming…

Currently |

I absolutely love what I do.  That being said, some days it can be downright torture staring at gorgeous vacation pictures all day!

Today I am wishing I was sitting beside this incredible pool at Parrot Cay Resort in Turks and Caicos.  How beautiful and perfectly relaxing does that look?!

And while I am dreaming, I would also like to be wearing this.

Anyone care to join me?

Special Package at Petit St Vincent Resort

Hotel Feature |

The incredible Petit St Vincent Resort has an amazing limited time offer that I just had to share!  I absolutely loved this resort when I visited earlier this year (and wrote about it here and here).  It is so private, there are beautiful cottages right on the beach, and the service couldn’t be any better.  This is the perfect honeymoon destination for couples looking to relax in luxury.

For stays between June 1-August 31, they are offering a 7 night package in a One Bedroom Cottage for $4,200 for two guests!  This rate includes all meals, all non-alcoholic beverages, and use of all non-motorized water sports.  This rate does not include tax and service charges, or flights to Union Island.

Viceroy Riviera Maya Villas

Hotel Feature |

My absolute favorite part about our stay at the Viceroy Riviera Maya was their gorgeous villas!  The hotel is smaller with just 41 private villas.  And every villa has a large terrace with a private pool!  I was in a Royal Jungle Villa.  Come check it out!

I also loved the outdoor shower!

The absolute best part was our large private terrace!  I wish I was still laying on that hammock!

I loved just how spacious and private the villas are!  So perfect for honeymoon couples.

Viceroy Riviera Maya

Hotel Feature |

I am back after a fabulous trip to the Viceroy Resort in Riviera Maya!  I absolutely loved this resort for so many reasons!  It was the perfect place to relax and be pampered, and would be an incredible hotel for honeymoon couples!

The beach at the hotel is absolutely gorgeous!  They have these beautiful covered cabanas with the most comfortable beach beds!

One evening we did tequila and ceviche tasting which was so much fun!  Highly recommended!

There is a beautiful restaurant and bar right on the beach!  I loved having breakfast and looking out at the water every morning.

The service at this hotel is so warm, friendly, and helpful.  The hotel is really small so everyone quickly learns your name which is so nice!

Next I will be sharing the hotel’s gorgeous private villas!  Interested in going to Viceroy Riviera Maya for your honeymoon?  Contact us!

Last Minute Tips

Travel 101 |

I am heading off to the Viceroy Resort in Riviera Maya tomorrow and am really looking forward to my stay!  Things have been extra busy around here, so I have been counting down the days to relaxing on the beach with great friends!

Prior to any trip, I have a bit of a checklist that I go through that I wanted to share.

-Check your flight times on the airline’s website.  Airlines frequently make schedule changes, oftentimes last minute changes.  Check again right before you leave for the airport in case of any flight delays.  Most airlines have apps you can download on your phone to make this easy!

-If you are arriving to your hotel well before check in, bring anything you might want if you can’t check into your room right away.  This way you can relax on the beach or squeeze in a spa appointment, and won’t have to dig through your suitcase to find what you need.

-Check the weather where you are traveling, especially what the weather will be when you arrive.  You don’t want to show up in sandals to find pouring rain, or be wearing a sweater to find 100 degree temperatures!

-If you are traveling for your honeymoon, make sure to bring a copy of your marriage certificate with you.  Some hotels will ask for some kind of proof in order to provide complimentary honeymoon amenities.

-Call your credit card companies to let them know where you will be.  This way they won’t put a hold on your credit card for suspiscious charges.  Also call your bank if you plan to use your debit card.

-Send family members a link to your hotel or copy of your itinerary so they can get in touch with you if needed

-Make sure you have all travel confirmations with you

-Last but most important, make sure you have your passport if needed!  Even if you forget everything else, this is the one thing you just can’t forget!
