Now that you know about the delicious food, drinks and fun you can enjoy at The BodyHoliday Resort in St Lucia from my earlier post, I have something to admit. It’s true, most of my vacations are typically a lot of eating, drinking, and beach lounging (as you may have noticed). If you’re like me, my idea of exercise on a trip consists of walking from my hotel room to the beach. This certainly wasn’t the case at The BodyHoliday Resort though!
I had checked out the activity list before I arrived, and was little intimidated to say the least. I ended up trying so many fun activities, and I still managed to sneak in some relaxing beach time, a few spa treatments, and helicopter ride too!
These views are from their unbelievable spa, which worth mentioning again is that a spa treatment every day is included with your stay. So soak in the view without thinking about your wallet!
All of their activities are also included, and they offer something for everyone. This includes archery, scuba diving, water skiing, ocean swim tours, spinning classes, and so much more – take a look at the board, and that was just on Monday!
I heard someone at the resort say that The BodyHoliday Resort strives to have your vacation experience last longer than your tan lines, hoping that you bring some things you learned home with you. I tried pilates for the first time at the resort and really enjoyed it, so I’ve started going to classes back home. I guess you can say they know what they are doing!
Since the resort is on the opposite side of the island as the airport, I took a helicopter ride on the way back which was so cool! The views from the sky were so incredible. The island is so lush and green, and the views of the coastline were gorgeous. It was the the absolute perfect way to end an amazing time in St Lucia!
The BodyHoliday Resort in St Lucia is the best of both worlds. They have so much going on all the time, on your honeymoon you’ll have limitless options either to relax, to try activites, or jump over to the spa.
If you think you’d like to spend your first newlywed nights here just contact me!
Recently I had the pleasure of staying at the fabulous BodyHoliday Resort in St Lucia. This was my first time in St Lucia and I was excited to check it out after hearing such great things. BodyHoliday is an all inclusive resort that not only covers your meals, drinks and a ton of activities, but also a spa treatment every day! You heard me. Every day. Heaven!
I enjoyed some of the best food and drinks (just take a look at the restaurants – including TAO). I really enjoyed how BodyHoliday prides itself on using lots of fresh local ingredients and also offering many healthy options. The drinks, well, let’s just say I have no complaints there either!
The island is so green, lush and beautiful and the people are incredibly warm and friendly. Beautiful beaches can be enjoyed from a bed, hammock or lounge chair. That’s not to mention the beachside cocktail service available to you.
For fun at night, you can have your pick of a piano bar or a beach bar with live music. One of the best experiences I had was their sunset cocktail cruise followed by a BBQ dinner on the beach which they host for guests on Friday evenings.
Many of my clients are worried about getting bored at a beach destination. No chance of that happening here! Next post will be about all of the fun activities that this amazing resort has to offer. If that sounds like your honeymoon wish list contact me!
On Thursday I’ll cover the rest of my trip to St Lucia and tell you what I tried for the very first time!
All aboard! Jillian from 100 Layer Cake, Leila from Inspired by This, Jen from Green Wedding Shoes, Summer from Grey Likes Weddings, and our lovely photographer Jen Huang (along with all of our men) jumped onboard a boat for quick ride from Anguilla to enjoy the second part of the trip on the incredible island of St Barths.
I little insight into my love of these two islands starts with how they both offer such different experiences despite being so close to one another. Anguilla is super laid back and slow moving, with funky beach bars serving rum punch cocktails, and steel drum music. Arrive at St Barths for an incredibly European feel with beautiful architecture, amazing restaurants, a cute town, and exciting nightlife.
Our home during our time in St Barths was Hotel Le Toiny, my absolute favorite hotel in St Barths! This hotel features 15 private villas, each with a private pool and ocean views! It’s located in a really private and secluded area of the island, but still just a short drive to the incredible beaches, shops, and restaurants on the island. And one of my favorite things about this hotel is the amazing breakfast each morning, which you can choose to enjoy in your villa or to have in their restaurant.
We had so much fun during our time in St Barths! The first night we headed over to Hotel Carl Gustaf at Victoria’s Restaurant for an unbelievable three-course wine pairing dinner. The restaurant hosts gorgeous views of the main town in St Barths called Gustavia. Oh my goodness their salted carmel dessert was just heavenly!
The following evening we had drinks and appetizers at On The Rocks at Hotel Eden Rock which we loved! It was a perfect evening with great company, and the most amazing food! I would highly recommend having dinner there one evening while in St Barths!
The next day we headed over to Gouveneur Beach. Hotel Le Toiny provided towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling equipment, and a picnic lunch. This was not your average beach picnic – we were blown away by the most incredible lunch spread! Yum!

Needless to say this trip was a complete success and we all had an unforgettable time. If you haven’t had chance to check out our time in Anguilla you definitely need to. I would also recommend perusing all the ladies blogs as well, they did a beautiful job capturing the trip!
A special offer for you honeymooners! Contact me to book your honeymoon at Hotel Le Toiny and you will receive a complimentary picnic lunch to bring to the beach one afternoon!

I love working in the wedding industry, and that may be an understatement. One of the biggest reasons is all the fabulous friends I have made! I’ve been really blessed to have so many wedding bloggers be so sweet and feature Ever After Honeymoons on their blogs, and many of my clients discovered my services from being readers of these blogs. I decided it was time to show my appreciation.
So I thought… Who doesn’t love a vacation, especially one you don’t have to plan? Exactly.
I knew this vacation had to be unforgettable for my marvelous wedding bloggers, so I chose to visit two of my favorite islands and hotels, bring a photographer along to capture the trip, and let each of them feature their trip on their blogs to share these fabulous spots with their readers. And that is how the idea was born!
I spent an incredible week, and I had a blast with Jillian from 100 Layer Cake, Leila from Inspired by This, Jen from Green Wedding Shoes, Summer from Grey Likes Weddings, and our photogapher, Jen Huang. All of our men came along as well (lucky ducks!).
Our adventures began in Anguilla at the incredible Viceroy Resort. Oh my goodness, I love it here! This is a large resort which is spread out along the most amazing beaches I have ever seen. There is so much to treasure about this resort: the incredible design by Kelly Wearstler, the gorgeous beachfront pools, the fabulous restaurants with the most amazing food and drinks, the friendly genuine service, and of course the jaw dropping beaches.
The Viceroy Anguilla resort absolutely spoiled us! From massages at their spa, to cocktail parties, to a private dinner on the beach followed by a bonfire with s’mores, this was truly an unforgettable experience!
The best news is a really special offer I have, just for my clients. Contact me to book a stay at the Viceroy Anguilla Resort and you will receive a complimentary couples massage in their fabulous spa!

James and Christina wanted to visit a destination that was different from the hustle and bustle of their usual big-city vacations and settled on Negril, Jamaica.
They loved staying at the Grand Pineapple Resortwhich is right on Seven Mile beach. Upon their arrival they were upgraded to a cottage overlooking the gardens.
To get a greater feel for the local people and culture, Christina and James recommend hiring a local driver and planning a day trip away from the resort.
“I don’t think we could have picked a more perfect location.” says Christina, “We fell in love with Jamaica, its food, its people, and the beaches. The Jamaican people are some of the most welcoming people we have ever met!”
