Mark & Mindy are foodies who were determined to honeymoon in a place where they could get sand, sun, culture, & wildlife- a honeymoon escape in Bali was just the ticket. The two stayed at Uma Sapna Villas and the Kayana Villas in Seminyak and ended their trip in Ubud at Komaneka at Bisma. In Seminyak, Mark & Mindy loved the beaches and array of resturants, while in Ubud they indulged in the serenity of the mountains, the art, and the vast opportunities for adventure that lay at their fingertips. The two went river-rafting, elephant trekking, walking in the monkey forest, and even took a cooking class all in Ubud!
Their favorite memory of their trip was picking out art for their new home at a local gallery. A wonderfully knowledgeable guide from the hotel took them to a boutique gallery, away from the tourist hot spots, where they walked around for hours looking at all of the different pieces. What a wonderful souvenir to bring back and have as a daily reminder of such a fabulous vacation!

What Debby and Michael wanted most for their honeymoon was seclusion and relaxation, and that is what they got when they escaped to Taveuni Island Resort in Fiji! This private island resort consists of bures and can only hold up to 12 guests at one time, which Debby and Michael really enjoyed! This meant more personal attention and a very calming and quiet atmosphere. Upon their arrival, Debby and Michael were upgraded to the most private and largest bure at the resort!
One night they joined some other guests on an adventure into town where they watched rugby with the locals at a little bar. They loved how friendly and welcoming all of the locals were! Another favorite memory was when the hotel arranged for local villages to perform native songs and dances after a traditional Fijian meal. They really got a taste of the culture and it was an experience they will never forget.
Debby and Michael highly recommend doing some excursions where you can really get involved in the local culture. And of course, picking a destination that will give you plenty of opportunity to relax after your wedding!

Ashley & Kenny are ultimate foodies, so for their honeymoon, they were on the hunt for AMAZING meals and the perfect balance of relaxation & adventure. The two newlyweds both agreed that many of their meals on their honeymoon were some of the most memorable meals of their lifetime. The amazing homemade & fresh fares in both Italy & Greece enhanced their experience so much more. The two started in Positano at the Palazzo Murat hotel and then went to the Relais Maresca in Capri and ended their time in Italy at Maison La Minervetta in Sorrento. They loved the beauty of each of the Amalfi Coast towns and how they were each uniquely their own.
After Italy, the two headed to Greece where they stayed at Aressana Spa & Hotel & the Altana Traditional Houses. At Altana Traditional Houses, the owner was so great to the couple and filled them in on all of the “hidden-gems” of Santorini, including restaurants, beaches, & best spots to watch the sunset without hoards of tourists.

I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday weekend! I have a beautiful honeymoon to share today! Levi & Allison escaped to the beautiful Riviera Maya after their wedding celebrations and stayed at one of my favorite hotels, Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita. The two had a fabulous time and said that Zoetry was, “the perfect spot for relaxing, yet as adventurous as we wanted it to be for our honeymoon.”
One of Allison & Levi’s favorite things about Zoetry was the community vibe that surrounded the hotel. They met many other honeymooners that they had such a blast getting to know & hang out with at the pool each day. They also loved the size of Zoetry (just 90 rooms). It’s not too small to where they felt isolated, but not too big either. I have to agree that a hotel like Zoetry is pretty ideal for any couple looking for some social interaction, prompt & personable service, & memorable activities!

It’s quite chilly over on the West Coast right now, so I think it’s time to warm things up with a Real Honeymoon to French Polynesia! Tai & Jeff started their honeymoon adventure at The Intercontinental Resort Tahiti and then ventured to The Intercontinental Resort & Spa Moorea & the Sofitel Bora Bora Marara Beach & Private Island. The two knew they wanted a tropical beach destination and this French Polynesian combination allowed for the perfect mix of relaxation & adventure.
Their favorite memory was most definitely shark & stingray feeding in Bora Bora. Tai & Jeff spent the day out on the water, enjoying views of the beautiful island, exploring the coral gardens, & getting some one-on-one time with the sharks & stingrays. Talk about an experience they’ll never forget!
When asked if there was any advice the two would offer to other couples planning their own honeymoons, Tai said, “Go to your dream destination. Splurge a little while there, and be open to adventure.
