Think culture, wine, and copious cuisine. Cape Town is robust with everything leisure. Its rich history serves up a multi-cultural ancestry offering a taste the world on your honeymoon. Choose from Greek, Portuguese to Korean delights (and that’s just to name a few). Go ahead and spend your afternoons frolicking about the Cape Winelands, upon the gorgeous beaches, or exploring the National Forest. There’s really so much to do!
If you choose Cape Town I’d love to send you to Kensington Place to enjoy the views of Table Mountain. This luxury boutique hotel is placed just close enough to it all, but offers a more secluded and romantic vibe good enough for any newlywed. I continue to send my clients there time and time again, and everyone returns raving about how much they loved this hotel.

You deserve to look and feel like a Stone Cold Fox on your honeymoon. No excuses.
This brilliantly romantic and flirty brand shouts ethereal goddess and it’s totally wearable outside the bedroom. The drips of lace and delicate fabric (not to mention their keen ability to add surprises like open backs, sheer accents and perfectly placed cut outs) keep you looking chic and utterly irresistible. These are the perfect pieces to take you from lounging in your suite, to relaxing by the beach, to cocktails at sunset.
I’d love to know- what are some other brands you love for romantic beach getaways?

Erica and Andrew fell in love with Belize and plan to go back! What is better than exploring a new country and dying to go back? Take a trip down their honeymoon memory lane.
Matachica Resort and Spa “A luxurious yet laid-back resort with wonderful staff and accommodations. Our casita’s breathtaking view was directly facing the Carribean Sea. We went snorkeling at the 2nd largest barrier reef and actually swam with nurse sharks and sting rays!”
Favorite memories at Matachica “The spa was wonderful and our massages felt great after a full-day adventure at the Lamanai Mayan ruins. The resort included complimentary kayaks or bicycles, but most of the time we preferred to relax with a drink on our hammock and enjoy the clear blue water on the beaches. The food at Mambo was unbelievable; a mix of Creole and Carribean flavors with fresh seafood, beef, fruit and vegetables of unique combinations.”
“Ka’ana Resort is located inland in the heart of the mountains and jungle, and what a change it was from San Pedro! The resort was 5-star quality with excellent service and attention to detail, and our room got upgraded too!”
Adventure + Indulgence “Our favorite tour by far was the Actun Tunichil Muknal caves, where we swam and climbed our way through dark tunnels to find Mayan ruins and history. It was definitely the highlight of our trip and worth a trip to San Ignacio while in Belize. The food and drinks were excellent and we even got to enjoy a poolside romantic dinner on our last night created by one of the staff.”
You better Belize it! The people of Belize were so friendly and made us feel welcome everywhere we went. There was a great mix of secluded luxury and historic adventure.
