Paris is the City of Love. It is the City of the Lights. It is the epicenter of all things chic, beautiful, romantic and timeless. Whether you’re visiting with the love of your life, a group of friends, or exploring on your own, this city will take your breath away! Paris is filled with some of the most beautiful and iconic buildings and no visit would be complete without seeing the Eiffel Tour, Arc De Triomphe, and the Notre Dame Cathedral.
Art lovers will find no shortage of amazing museums to explore with classic pieces housed at the Louvre or the amazing collection of impressionist pieces at the Musee d’Orsay.
The dining options in Paris are also endless, as it is home to one of the largest selections of Michelin restaurants. If you’ve come to shop, Champs-Élysées offers some of the chicest couture you will find anywhere in the world! And finally, if you’re an architecture buff, you will delight in the diverse mix of styles, everything ranging from Gothic to Art Deco to Baroque to Art Nouveau to Renaissance to Classic French.
Paris is filled with so many amazing and unique hotel options but on my most recent visit, I made La Reserve Paris my home and everything about my stay was incredible! You can’t beat the location of this property.
It is comfortably nestled off the Champs-Elysées, and overlooks the Grand Palais, the Eiffel Tower, the Pantheon and the Concorde.
The hotel has the elegance of a 19th century urban mansion but provides a private club atmosphere, where only guests may access the library, smoking lounge, pool and fitness center.
La Reserve Paris is a boutique property with only 26 rooms and 14 suites, each having its own charm and personality.
All of the accommodations are spacious and comfortable, featuring custom silk walls, velvet drapes, contemporary paintings, antique bronze sculptures and brocade taffeta. You will be well taken care of during your stay, as every room and suite has a personal butler.
There is an intimate spa on property, with only three treatment rooms. They offer some of the world’s finest anti-aging treatments using Nescens products from Switzerland and they can tailor any service to your exact personal needs. You’ll also find one of the city’s only indoor pools as well as a fitness center. Guests can also request private yoga, pilates or personal training sessions.
Finally, the property has two amazing restaurants with gastronomic offerings from acclaimed chef Jerome Banctel. Le Gabriel is the double-Michelin-starred restaurant. I suggest ordering the tasting menu so that you can have a thorough introduction to the seasonal French cuisine. La Pagode is the second option, offering incredible dishes with a spicy flair.
If you want to take your trip to the next level, charter a private helicopter to give you an aerial tour of the City of Lights.
After you’ve admired the architecture and city streets from above, let your captain whisk you away to the Château de Ferrières for a relaxing lunch at Le Baron.
The restaurant is perfectly situated inside a beautiful 19th century French chateau and you can explore the amazing buildings and grounds after you dine.
Paris is the perfect destination for a romantic vacation or honeymoon! If you’d like to start planning your trip to La Reserve Paris please email me. Not only will you be VIP guests but you will receive daily breakfast, 100 euros spa credit, complimentary airport transfers (for 3-night stays) and top priority for room upgrades.
The island of Lana’i feels a world apart from the other more developed Hawaiian Islands. Lana’i is a special destination where you’ll find adventure, tranquility, romance and breathtakingly beautiful surroundings.
It is the smallest of Hawaii’s inhabited islands, covering 140 square miles. It was once known as the Pineapple Island because over 20,000 acres were covered with plantations.
Today, Lana`i is considered Hawaii’s most secluded island and the place to go if you want a very relaxed, private vacation. It has a unique and unusual beauty and is the ideal destination for couples that want remote luxury.
Lana’i also offers a range of activities and excursions to keep you busy including amazing hiking trails, biking, world-class golf courses, horseback riding, snorkeling, off-road adventuring and five-star dining.
You can even rent a jeep for the day and drive to beaches that are entirely yours to explore!
When visiting Lana’i be sure to stay at the Four Seasons Lana’i. The resort is perched on top of red lava cliffs and overlooks white-sand beaches, the Pacific Ocean and Hulopo’e Bay, a marine sanctuary that’s a playground to spinner dolphins and humpback whales.
The property features a main building and nine separate two-story buildings housing 213 guest rooms, including 45 suites. The resort was recently redone and the decor is gorgeous!
There is a wide range of luxury suites with panoramic views of the Pacific or the stunning hillside.
Enhancing the grounds are five lush botanical gardens, featuring cascading waterfalls and serene koi ponds.
The resort has gorgeous swimming pools overlooking Hulopoe Bay. There is an adults-only pool that offers a peaceful, lagoon-style setting, complete with whirlpools.
The central pool allows children of all ages. You will be well taken care of while relaxing at the pool, as the staff regularly come around with Evian spritzes, chilled towels, frosty Popsicles, sunglass cleaning, a selection of magazines, complimentary sunscreen and flavored ice water.
There are countless activities to keep you busy on the property. I recommend seeing the island with a UTV tour.
For a unique experience that will provide you with a bird’s-eye view of the island, take a helicopter ride. You’ll get to spend the full day flying over coffee estates, remote beaches, and active volcanoes. Land for a gourmet picnic lunch, hiking tour, or a visit to a local attraction.
Or better yet, sit in the pilot’s seat during a private flying lesson, where you will learn to perform basic maneuvers such as takeoff, cruising and landing.
Also, make sure to also carve out some time for a visit to their spa, Hawanawana. The spa focuses on ocean-based products and their treatments are inspired by the healing powers of the sea and are uniquely tailored to each individual guest.
Finally, there is an amazing selection of restaurants located on the property offering everything from steak to seafood to sushi. My favorite is their Japanese restaurant Nobu, which offers an extensive selection of sakes and traditional Japanese dishes as well as sushi.
Lana’i is a destination not to be missed! If you’d like to start planning your honeymoon or vacation to Four Seasons Lana’i please email me. Not only will you be VIP guests but you will receive complimentary breakfast daily, the best rate available, a $100 hotel credit, plus top priority for room upgrades.
Sean and Marissa recently returned from an amazing honeymoon to New Zealand and Fiji! They loved their hotels in both locations, and were blown away by their scenic surroundings. Read more about what Sean and Marissa had to say below!
“All the work you put in finding phenomenal places for us to stay truly paid off in spades. Each time we checked into a new hotel our jaws dropped. A few times we simply didn’t explore the areas as we’d planned because our accommodations were just too good to pass up. We can’t thank you enough!”
“Our transfers and bookings between countries were reliable, friendly and so comfortable. We were actually wondering if you only do honeymoons…we’d love to work with you again on more international trips. Finally, all the stress and uncertainty you saved us on the research and reservation side of things was priceless.”
They loved starting with adventure in New Zealand, and then relaxing in Fiji! They were able to do excursions like off roading and river rafting. That’s one of the perks about honeymooning in New Zealand or Fiji – there is a lot to do if you are an adventurous couple! I’d love to plan your honeymoon based on your favorite things – send me an email to get started!
Christine and Arbi had a wonderful time on their honeymoon in Venice and Florence with a last minute trop to Milan to see a European football match! They then travelled down to the Amalfi Coast and stayed at Casa Angelina in the town of Praiano. This was their first time in Italy and they loved it- so much so they are already planning to return soon! Read more about their experience below.
About Venice:
“Our hotel was absolutely beautiful and the workers we really nice and helpful. They gave us wonderful suggestions on restaurants and guided us to the places we wanted to visit. During our short stay there we deliberately got lost in the little streets while shopping, dined at amazing little restaurants, visited San Marco Square, and took a boat to the island of San Lazaro and Murano. Our last night there we decided to take a private taxi to the Hotel Danieli for dinner. It was perfect.”
About Florence:
“From Venice we took the train to Florence. We both enjoyed traveling with the train and going through all the cute little towns. The first class tickets were absolutely worth it! I didn’t think I would love any other city just as much as Venice but Florence was amazing. Our hotel, again was awesome. It was in a great location, center to a lot of great stores and restaurants. The staff was really nice and helpful also. The shopping we did here was pure damage but all worth it… Haha. I do wish I had more time here so next time I would stay a day or two longer although my husband was happy with the length of our stay.”
About Milan:
“The next day we took a train to Milan to go to the game. Our hotel was still pretty close to the Duomo and all the stores. This was definitely a plus since we wanted to walk around and soak in Milan as much as we could. The city was popping because of the fashion week so it was really exciting to be mixed up in that energy.”
“After Sienna, we went back to Florence and took a train to Naples. I can’t emphasize how much we enjoyed our train rides from city to city. Freccia Rossa was the best. When we arrived to our hotel the rain clouds had departed and we were left with this amazing view!! WOW. It was fantastic. For the next four days we went to Positano for lunch, Sorrento for dinner, visited Amalfi and Ravello with a scooter and Capri for the day! It was perfect.”

Sarah and Phil opted for a relazing and tropical honeymoon on the Caribbean islands of St Barths and Nevis. They stayed at Hotel Christopher in St Barths & then the Four Seasons Nevis. They had a wonderful honeymoon and were kind enough to share some pictures and tips!
ST BARTHS FAVORITES
1. Hotel Christopher: Amazing. We were upgraded to one of the rooms directly overlooking the pool. Everyone here was so pleasant and the pool was absolutely gorgeous. The breakfast was amazing and drinks were so delicious! Sisley Spa was one of our favorite things. We had a couples’ massage and the room has the most amazing view. We are also so glad we rented a car — we were able to explore the island during the day.
2. Beaches: We wanted to see as many beaches as possible, so we spent two days driving around and spending an hour or so at each beach. Hotel Christopher packed our car up with beach supplies each day. Our two favourites were Colombier Beach and Gouverneur Beach.
3. Restaurants: Bonito was our favorite! Their Lobster risotto, ceviche, and sea bass were out of this world. On the Rocks at Eden Rock and L’Isoletta were two other favorites.
NEVIS FAVORITES
1. Four Seasons Nevis: I feel like this was the summer camp of the Four Seasons. Very rustic looking — but definitely still nice. Our room was upgraded so we had a suite with a really beautiful ocean view. And the chocolate covered strawberries and champagne when we got in were so sweet! We spent most of our time at the adults only pool. It was so quiet and relaxing and had a great view of the water.
2. Spa: Sarah ended up going to the spa every day and Phil even went a few days too!
3. Restaurants: The food at the hotel was amazing. We had the same woman wait on us both nights and when we told her how much we loved Conch she had the chef prepare us a special conch appetizer for the next night! Such a treat. Our favorite restaurant though was called Sunshines. This is a run down shack that’s next to the Four Seasons (just a two minute walk up the beach). We kept hearing from people that we needed to go there and try their famous “Killer Bees” drinks. The place is supposedly famous — it’s covered in all of these flags from different schools, countries, and states and most of them are signed by famous people (like famous coaches) and there’s pictures all over the place of the owner posing with famous people (like Bill Clinton!). The food was really great and the drinks were amazing! It’s a definite must if you’re staying at the Four Seasons!
Thanks for sharing your experience, Sarah and Phil! We’d love to help you plan your dream honeymoon – email us today and lets get started!
